Thanks for the further explanations and concurrences Chris.  It's actually all in the manual which I decided to read (don't tell anyone!! -_-).  The reason the airport is not immediately populated is because the aircraft are flying their flightplans and still enroute.  Eventually the airport will fill up as flights arrive.

I was looking around and noticed in the manager communicator data base builder was not installed it talked about an SDK and something to do with pfpx. I uninstalled 5.4b and 5.4c. I am currently reinstalling both

Always get the base install to work first before installing updates.

It still says Trafficbuidlerdatabase not copied yet.  I started up FSX and have planes galore at 25%.  Still don't know why I have the message though.  I guess I will install 5.4c since I have aircraft with 5.4b.

Mine says that too.  I just ignored it though.  Sounds like you have some eye candy now :rolleyes:

Yes, you have to install the FSX SDK then it will see it.

I may have to look into that sometime Jim.  I wonder what sort of options it would give me as far as tweaking AI traffic?  I suppose it's "my turn" to read the manual now :lol: But again it's not broke so I'm not sure if I want to try to fix it B)

The developer could not put the database into his product as it belongs to Microsoft and it would be like stealing their code so you need to install the FSX SDK then move the trafficdatabasebuilder over into the MTX folder and then it will see it. Likewise, he can't post a copy on his website for you to download.  Don't ask me what it does, when it does it, why it does it, or how it does it. I just follow instructions from the developer (guess that's my 20 years in the military that made me do it :lol:).

As soon as I installed 5.4c the aircraft disappeared.  When 5.4c installed it said something about checking the schedules.  Is it best to just use 5.4b since I don't really use schedules just like the AI traffic?  Or should I try and figure out why 5.4C made the aircraft disappear?

5.4c does have a few issues so I always stopped at revision b.
