March 30, 201412 yr Hello! I really want to buy the Q400 now that FS2Crew is out - yet, I'll want the Pro version. Is there any vendor that will upgrade just for the price difference, or do I hold off on my purchase? Also, will the Pro version be P3D compatible? Thanks!

Is there any vendor that will upgrade just for the price difference, or do I hold off on my purchase? Also, will the Pro version be P3D compatible? Thanks! In response to your first question, nearly every vendor is doing that where you pay only the price difference. In fact, I can't think of a vendor that isn't doing that! I don't own the plane and therefore I do not know if it is P3D compatible or not. Regards, Jeremy Chesney

April 1, 201412 yr A discount or charge only the price difference? Only the price difference. From the product page at Just Flight... Note: If you buy the Dash 8 from Just Flight you will be able to upgrade via Just Flight to the next editions when they are available, with the upgrade cost simply being the price difference between the currently owned version and the next version. April 1, 201412 yr Commercial Member P3D is not *officially* supported at this time, but work has been done so that it works in P3D, and you can install it there. Please let us know if you have any issues with it! Best regards, Robin.

I'm getting it mainly for the failure simulation and the improved controls and systems.
April 1, 201412 yr Commercial Member I'll find out. Best regards, Robin. Hi, At this time any support for P3D is unofficial, but the situation is under constant review. By all means please fly the Dash in P3D, and report any oddities with it in P3D in this thread: http://majesticsoftware.com/forums/categories/update-hotfix-user-problems-bugs:-v1-008-and-higher- Best regards, Robin.

I just wanted to make sure Majestic won't ask me to re-purchase a P3D license in 6 months!
April 1, 201412 yr Commercial Member Not AFAIK! If that was the plan then I'm sure they'd block it from working at all now. Best regards, Robin.
April 27, 201412 yr If I'm not mistaken the developers have stated on their forums that you will not be charged for an additional P3D license. Very generous.
