I've noticed I'm not the only one with this problem. Most other software sends it to you within minutes in an email

Sometimes a key request gets overlooked/lost, sometimes there's a small mistake in the e-mail you set up for the request (e.g. format).

 

I usually set up a 2nd e-mail from scratch 48 hours after the first one to cater for both possibilities.

the system is automated IF your email is prepared exactly as the format. I once had an extra space at the beginning of mine and that was enough to delay my key.

 

     Key request email. Also make sure that the Product ID, in your Key
request email, is followed by a exclamation point
        (!), your first name, another exclamation point (!) and your last
name. For example:
                -12345633 ! john ! dekker   

 

Also make certain the Subject of your email is 

   RCv4 Key Request

I think it's also important to mention that there are no spaces between the ! (exclamation marks). Some may have entered them based on that example.

I'm very sorry that you are still waiting for your key. I have been asked by John Dekker not to issue keys so I'm sorry but you'll have to wait for his response.

 

I know this is annoying for you but I have no way of checking the validity of key requests. Only John can do that. I will send him an email now.
