More VFR Photoreal -- Bayern (Bavaria)

Recommended Posts

I started working on my photoreal projects again after I finished my contract work in Virginia.  I've been vacationing in Virginia ever since, before I head home.

I thought you would enjoy my progress so far.

Yes, Munich is covered, so is Innsbruck.  I plan on covering south to Luzern/Zurich, and north to the Ruhr.  Also parts of France are covered as well, in the Alsace.

Wow, that's a definitely a huge are to cover! I wonder how many GB will consume on HD?

Fantastic work John! Any chance this covers the northern part of Bavaria incl. Frankonia? Would be awesome if my hometown Nuernberg (EDDN) would be in there ;-)

Cheers,

Pete

Yes, but there is one stretch which had no sat. coverage so the default scenery will blend in.  As far as size, I haven't calculated quite yet--probably less than 10 GB when I am done.

Keep up the good work :)

Thanks for the compliment.  My scenery has progressed north past Bonn and I should have the rest of the Ruhr done by tomorrow.  Nurenburg looked pretty nice--there are some slight color differences but overall it gives a great sense of flying over the fields and farmlands of western Germany and the Alsace.
