June 1, 201412 yr Moderator Your point above about how trees can end up down the middle of a road emphasises why a list needs to be published of the what nots and dont do's in OpenStreetMaps. Actually, the tree issue has nothing to do with how it's been done in OSM. In fact, in OSM it's done correctly. The issue is just that some of the roads used in X-Plane have trees along them, so nearby roads will end up with trees on them. This needs fixing in X-Plane and whatever is generating the scenery (It happens in the default, HD Mesh and also World2XPlane), and not in OSM.
