After all these years, finally picked up a Saitek Trim wheel

I find I have to adjust it quite a bit throughout a flight

Without engaging an Autopilot this is how it is done real world ... in flight trim is constantly being performed as weather and fuel load changes.  The Saitek trim wheel allows much finer granularity in adjustment over the trim up/down buttons so one doesn't end up chasing level altitude.

Cheers, Rob.

Thanks so much for the info.  I'm interested in trying it as I only fly the cesna right now as I get used the game.  Plus it would save me a couple more buttons on the yoke to assign to something else.

Looks awesome Rob - I also have a trim wheel they are very nice to have for sure - thanks for sharing   :good:

Btw, would you mind telling me where you got that desk!

Heya Ray. I have one very similar (if only by looking at the feet) that I got from Office Max. Office Max and Office Depot are one and the same now, so you can probably go to either. They come in cherry or mahogany, are built like tanks, and also have a riser that sits on top for stashing books, DVD, etc. Rob does not have that unit, but it is all modular so you can pick and choose as you want.

Cool thanks for the info. Moving into a new place soon, so I'll be looking for a sturdy desk!
