Hello everyone

I have recently read about this tweak but the problem is that most of the topics talking about it are almost 2 years old if not older . are there any updates on this tweak and do you guys even use it ?

cheers  ^_^

Just try a few different settings for yourself.

Optimum for performance is probably around 0.1.

I think default is 0.25 or 0.4, something around there.

With Tileproxy, I used 1.5 for a while, which gives super sharp textures, but quite a performance hit - Not bad for Photoscenery though.

It depends on your system, what scenery and aircraft you are using. If you have great performance and can afford to lose a few FPS, then try 0.8.  If not, then stick to something between 0.1 and 0.4.

Yes, that's how it works...

The default was .33 I believe. The lower you go, yes, smoother, but you then risk the dreaded blurries.

well everyone I have been experimenting a bit with it and haven't seen any significant improvements in the fps . my "experimenting" was on the NGX on a final approach into LOWI R26 is it a good situation to test this tweak or should i try it with the UK200 EGLL for example ?

You really need to test it with whatever you fly.  No point testing with default scenery and aircraft if you fly with photoscenery and the PMDG 737.

Try a really low setting and then try a really high one (e.g. 0.1 and 1.5) directly after one another.

As I said - I found higher settings sharpened up photoscenery a lot, but you do lose performance (FPS).

I just checked my cfg and I'm using 0.33 at the moment, which is a bit of a compromise - I could do with using higher for my UK photoscenery (where I have no performance issues), but I also use ORBX AU and 1.5 would hit performance too much.

Hello everyone

I have tested different settings from 0.1 ranging to 0.8 in different situations but i don't see ANY difference . except some fps gain when comparing 0.1 to 0.8 . so i decided to keep the tweak out of my CFG . by the way its only a matter of a couple of months for PMDG to releases their products on P3D and then I personally could say goodbye to all this tweaking for once and for all

Cheers
