Like I said earlier, You're free to disagree with my post, but this is straight out of PMDG's website on the T7 page. "May work", as in "possible that it runs great for you but not for that other guy, just because". It's not because it runs great for you that it is supported. A performance car designed to run on 93 octane will run on 89 - it won't run as good, but will run. However, if crap happens, they'll say "only 93 was supported". Same thing.

May 14, 201412 yr @micksid: You know that FSX can't handle more than 4Gigabytes of RAM? Because it's a 32 bit application. Just wanted to inform you, 32GB RAM do not affect the FSX Performance. Greetings from Germany, Florian
May 15, 201412 yr This is incorrect. FSX or any software application that is installed on a 64 bit Operating System have up to 4GB's of Virtual Address Space (VAS). When FSX or any application is running, it is competing with your Windows services and any other programs in the background for the limited amount of VAS. If you had a 32 bit Operating System, FSX and other applications only have 2GB's of VAS that can be expanded with a "/3GB switch" and then that will allow up to 3GB's of VAS. So it is best to own a 64 bit Operating System. RAM is completely separate from VAS and I've seen reports that anything over 8 GB's of RAM is used by FSX or FSX addons. Still the technology may someday exist to allow more usage. Virtual memory (Page File) is also separate from VAS and that can be adjusted based on the amount of RAM. FSX likes "System Managed Size" though but professional computers experts have had success setting up their own page file limits.
