May 7, 201412 yr Commercial Member (2) One of the A-380 middle east operators had that massive engine explosion that ripped off part of the wing and poked big holes in surfaces of the wing, had so many emergency alarms, lights and bells in the cockpit, they couldn't manage all of it. Qantas - definitely not Middle East, but based on the main clientele for that aircraft, I can see why one might assume it was a Middle Eastern carrier. I still swear that the only criteria for purchasing aircraft in that area are: Big Shiny New Fleet overlap be [darned]! Kyle Rodgers

May 7, 201412 yr Commercial Member Hey...Kyle updated his picture...now we can see him... haha - my buddy is a lurker here and he keeps telling me to upload a more personable photo. The one for a while was me from the side looking all stern and apparently judgmental (but I was flying, so I thought it was relevant). The last one was apparently better, but still distanced by the huge aviators. This one is apparently personal enough that people might realize I'm not just out to get people...who knows...
