Air stairs not touching ground

Featured Replies

Hi

I have noticed that the air stairs on the NGX do not touch the ground and that they leave quite a dangerous gap.

Is there a fix for this?

Thanks

Ryan

You don't want to hurt those virtual passengers.

Ah... but, you see... with a light or tail-heavy airplane... there actually is space between the bottom of real airstairs and the airport surface.

I just tried it.. cant really tell on my PC.

oh well.. I guess not many airlines IRL use the built in airstairs.. Ryanair is the only one I can think of.. rest use gates or ground equipment stairs.

Most airlines don't use these because of the additional weight it adds to the aircraft.
