May 21, 201412 yr Author I forgot to add, before you run FSTScenery shut FSX completely down and then run FSTScenery. Do not run FSTScenery while FSX is running. Thank You so much I will do this as soon as I get home from work Thank You Steven Pow
May 21, 201412 yr Hi, Steven and Idahosurge, Thanks, idahosurge, for pitching in here! Just want to note that there may be two afcads with updated data now, because there was already nav data for the new 36L showing up when Steven believed he only had the stock airport. If you look in the video Steven linked in the very first post, you will see that he is getting nav data from the new 36L and you can hear the correct ID for it, I-XUU, in Morse code as well. This is before he installed any new AFCAD, when the new 36L was mostly invisible. Both the ID for new 36L and that frequency 110.15 are not in the default scenery. I am bringing this up because a third AFCAD could still cause problems, such as slow framerates on approach, duplicate taxiways, etc. Mike
May 22, 201412 yr Mike, the third afcad would have to be in his Addon Scenery\Scenery folder because I looked through the scenery.cfg he posted and there is not another KCLT there. Steve, it would probably be a good idea for you to look at everything you have in your Addon Scenery\Scenery folder and make sure you do not have multiple KCLT's installed. Also like you installed one of Ray's KCLT bgl's to Scenery\Global\Scenery make sure that you do not have any other bgl's for KCLT installed someplace else. You could do a search of your FSX drive in Windows Explorer for KCLT. Also in regards to My Traffic airports. I have My Traffic and when I install an airport that is a duplicate of one in the My Traffic\Scenery folder I disable the one in My Traffic. The My Traffic KCLT is called BR2_KCLT.BGL so rename this to BR2_KCLT.BGL.OFF and that will disable it. Supposedly FSX only uses the airport that is the highest in priority, but rather than run the risk of confusing FSX I always disable any MTX airports in My Traffic\Scenery when I install another one someplace else in FSX. Of course I have over 100 other airports that I have installed, that is the main reason I disable all of the My Traffic airports that are duplicated.
May 22, 201412 yr Author Ok I know I only have the KCLT airport as my add on and everything else is stock except for my JFK airport. I'm on my way home now to correct all that I read today. Thank You Steven Pow

Hi, Steven, Just to be clear, I wasn't suggesting that you were mistaken about how many versions of KCLT you installed. What I am suggesting is that one of your addons did install an updated KCLT without your knowledge. It's quite likely that Idahosurge is right about renaming the KCLT file installed by My Traffic so that it doesn't conflict with the Afcad you just installed. He is obviously familiar with My Traffic; I am not. If renaming causes problems it's easy enough to put it back the way it was. Mike
