My question is for Henrik or anyone else who has create AI boat traffic which have boat routes starting and/or finishing at a DOCK.

What is the secret in creating a route which results in the boat facing the direction it will go when it starts instead of facing in the opposite direction (to the route) and then backing out, turning 180 degrees and then proceeding?

I have created water airport and some ai boat traffic. On one route the boat starts facing in the correct direction and then moving straight out. The other has the boat starting facing in the opposite direction and then in backs out, turns 180 degrees and then proceeds.

I have tried everything I can to modify the second route to work like the first route without success.

Or is it just luck that the first route works the way I want it to?

Thanks

Regards

John

Unfortunately it so that even if the ships depart the first time in the right direction, they will on subsequent trips start by doing a 180 degrees turn.

Hi everyone,

I can compile a "route" without any problem just with only one boat, the "wash_ferry_sm" the default ship in the map boats from FSX after installation. The traject is correct, compiling without problem. The boat shows up, turns as it should be,  everything works fine

Now, i would like to use a ship from the collection "Global AI Ship Traffic" for instance AI_Statsraad_Lehmkuhl and let it sail in the "kanaal" ...(I have them all in the corresponding FSX maps, they all show up, made many pictures yet...)

Compiles ok, but the ship never shows up....Making the Boat, Plans, Route files exactly as with "wash_ferry_sm" no way, does someone have any idea how that comes...?

Thanks,

Ivan
