I've been seeing blurbs all over the interwebs that 10.3 is out, but my install doesn't see it and I don't get a notification that anything newer than 10.25 is available.

There was an option in the installer, I have no idea if you can check that option after you've installed it though.

You simply have to run the X-Plane installer/updater! (the tool can be downloaded from the official X-Plane site -> "Install & Update" -Tab)

Yes, run the installer and click on "Update X-Plane". At the bottom of the next page, tick the box that says "check for betas as well as updates." You'll then get the beta.

I must have had the installer in my old pc so I do not have that anymore.  Where does one get the installer these days?  Last I remember the installer that came with the dvd's were not to be used.
