That's the first public beta, not the final release, so unless PMDG was/is a member of the team that tried 10.50 in the private beta test it's hard to tell if the DC-6 is 10.50 ready.

Kyle stated that there're no external plugins because all is developed in-house, this mean that they compiled their own code and if Linux is not supported I assume that there's no working Linux version.

It's a txt file, just zip it and post it (no copy/paste).

Very strange... but we're a little bit OT so I'd suggest you to open another thread so we can talk about that without hijack this one.

I believe there's something definitively unusual. You could try to download W2XP again putting it in a different folder and testing a short generation using default values, just to check timings... or maybe the problem is about OSM data, where and how do you get them?

I use it since the beginning, at the cost (if applicable) to lower other rendering options.

Exactly, but we're speaking about hours, not days (2 hours for Switzerland for me too, if I recall correctly)... when I generate Italy at the maximum detail level usually it take 2/3 hours, I never tried Germany but I know that has much more user data so I'd estimate 5/8 hours of work so you must have a very slow computer, or a very strange configuration file, if you do need several days to generate a scenery. @Scotchegg: let me say that's not a critic, I'm just trying to figure it out.

You can't, speaking about X-Plane actually Steam platform provides only Release Candidates and Finals, no plans for beta versions.

I believe there's no need to reinstall those planes, it would sound very very strange to me that both of them would have the same issue... in the next days do some other tests and let us know if it works fine.

Very strange, as I said I can't speak for A330 as I don't own it but with the 757 all is fine... try this: go to the root folder of X-Plane then go to the Output folder, inside of it you'll find the preferences folder, rename it and relaunch the simulator (it's a sort of hard reset, like the very first time you launched X-Plane), set the rendering options and the AI planes then try again with the 757.

Well, believe or not me too have some problems while trying to understand how to attach a file, I'm no longer able to find the button. I gave a look at your log, no strange behaviours inside of it so I checked my 757 with two AI planes and AI traffic works fine... try to increase the number and/or check local map (you may need to zoom it out) in order to see where AI aircrafts are actually placed.
