June 12, 201411 yr Hi guys, Can anyone tell me why the pink glideslope diamond would be missing from the PFD in this pic? Its usually been there on other approaches. As you can see its showing on the approach display.... Thanks Dan 🛫
June 12, 201411 yr PFD G/S deviation pointer is not shown when the difference between selected course and airplane track is more than 90 degrees. Rostyslav S Wanna fly 737NGX with turbulence?
June 12, 201411 yr It could be the ILS you're on does not support altitude guidance/engagement? Rodriguez, J.
June 12, 201411 yr Author It could be the ILS you're on does not support altitude guidance/engagement? I believe it does, the glideslope was showing on the approach display just not on the PFD 🛫
June 13, 201411 yr Is not set correctly both course ILVR is not 268° as it Yellow . It's not needed to do this always. You have two separate course selectors to set differenet nav aids. Especially in topic starter case, when he seems using slew mode. Rostyslav S Wanna fly 737NGX with turbulence?
June 13, 201411 yr The course and/or frequency will appear yellow with strikethrough if there is a difference between the captain's side and the FO's side. This only prevents you from doing an autoland. For a normal ILS with manual landing you can just set the captain's course and frequency, and it'll be ok. Cristi Neagu
