June 17, 201411 yr Author Commercial Member I have no idea if it works in P3d v2 at this time. It most certainly will when it's released. June 17, 201411 yr Hehe....I wonder how many people who don't paint will glaze over this post...not even bother to download the link, and never realize what they've missed? LoL...maybe they'll get the hint when I start previewing paints in FSX. Not sure what I'll try to paint 1st...looking at the maps...13 of them....oh my! Going to wear out my CRTL, C and V keys with that many maps to copy masters to! Of course I don't think ever map will require paint. And I'm sure Milviz will gift the finished product to whoever creates a full fuse master texture for this beauty. I have so many paints in my hangar right now...but this plane is a beauty...and I agree...the model is outstanding! Getting much use out of my trusty Milviz Baron, she's a dream to fly and view from all angles. Need a beefy twin turbine for Air Ambulance service...in fact breezing over pics of them right now...Wonder if the Australian Air Ambulance service flies them? June 17, 201411 yr Without model I can not paint it so kit is unusable without seeing it on the actual aircraft in sim Rich Sennett
June 17, 201411 yr Author Commercial Member Perhaps you might try actually downloading it before writing... (Or even reading what's written...) June 17, 201411 yr Hi - I downloaded it open the psd files they look great but - oh man I forgot about the exe - never saw that before - very cool buy I run only P3D V2 - too bad would have been cool to try it out Rich Sennett
June 17, 201411 yr Without model I can not paint it so kit is unusable without seeing it on the actual aircraft in sim Hey Richard...if you still have FSX on your machine and can stand a few minutes in it...I HIGHLY suggest you download the paintkit and look carefully what's included in it. They say a picture is worth a 1000 words...well this one should be screaming at everyone! Regards, Steve Dra LOL....both of you were posting at the same time as I was. I thought my subtle hint in my previous post was enough....but I think my picture of the fantastic model in the sim should wake folks up. Great work Milviz! she's a beauty to be sure. Once I find some time I'm sure I'll throw some paint on her that may be worthy of of inclusion in the final product...but 13 maps....holy cramped painting hands Batman! :LMAO: Regards, Steve Dra Regards, Steve DraGet my paints for MSFS planes at flightsim.to here, and iFly 737s hereDownload my FSX, P3D paints at Avsim by clicking here
June 17, 201411 yr "They say a picture is worth a 1000 words...well this one should be screaming at everyone" Sounds like you are going to have fun - not going to load fsx - done with that - no biggie - good luck with your paints Buddy Regards, Rich Rich Sennett
June 17, 201411 yr Sounds like you are going to have fun - not going to load fsx - done with that - no biggie - good luck with your paints Buddy Regards, Rich Thanks Rich. You should have kept FSX on your system for situations like these. I know you like to paint and your paints are great (Love your All Blacks 777...I would love your American...even though its a great paint, I am not a fan of the new AA paint at ALL.) Living in Dallas and just a few miles north east of KDFW, they fly over my place all the time...I am going to miss the glint the shiny old AA livery always delivers at around 2:55pm when they fly over my place and are angled just right. It's almost like they are winking at me. hehe. June 17, 201411 yr but one good thing is the 777 paint kit is very nice compared to 737 Totally agree...and even though I don't have the 737, I did paint it on request...but had to send the paint to the customer so he could look at it int FSX and send me pics of what I got wrong. Took me forever to figure out how to get the registration right on the wings! Now that I know how its not hard (and of course I kept the master I created to make it, and will never have to rebuild that again :LMAO: ) The 777 is very easy to paint....even painting it in PaintShop from converted PSD files. But then again I've been painting for years with it...so its literally like an extension of my hands. And yeah..the new AA is easy to paint (except the tail)...the bare metal is by far the hardest thing to get right...not too many people know how to do it well...me included. This was my only real attempt at metal (engines on the 120) This one was probably my hardest, and I didn't actually paint it...I just ported it over to the LDS model from the POSKY one (although that task in itself was actually harder that painting...the maps between the 2 models were totally different It's Ed Cox's fabulous rendition: This one has had over 17,000 downloads...and that was after the forum hack after I had to re-upload it. :Hypnotized: Regards, Steve Dra Regards, Steve DraGet my paints for MSFS planes at flightsim.to here, and iFly 737s hereDownload my FSX, P3D paints at Avsim by clicking here
June 18, 201411 yr It would only seem logical that I play around with this paint kit given my previous history with King Air's. Stay tuned. Nick Preston
