Looks like we are both in similar (if not the same) boats on high speed. I live in a very rural area. Our local telephone company also provides internet access and they are very good. I'm on dial up and it's been seldom that the service has been down and when it is a quick call to the tech support line 24/7/365 will yield an estimate of repair time or a live person to report the outage. All in all a very good service. They also offer DSL which I would love to take advantage of but unfortuately we live about five miles from the telephone company office on a road with a housing density of about two per mile. Attenuation would drive the speed of DSL down to not much better than dial up out here and there isn't near enough people living in the area to warrant a repeater station (no use spending a few ten grand for ten or so customers). So unless we experience a housing boom or some new technology comes along or I move I guess I'm stuck on dial up. One of the owners (major stock holders) of the telephone company lives just down the road and even he can't get high speed. :DEdit: To the one who started the thread. Flight One is quite good with refunds. Their policy states a 30 no questions asked refund policy. Basically a free 30 demo of the full product. Also I've noticed in their forum that not many have any trouble with refunds so you should be OK. Of course I haven't tried their refund policy out personally however. I have a number of Flight One products and wouldn't part with any of them.
