Aircraft moves when RCv4 started, no display window

Featured Replies

To save a log, alt-tab to the RC (Preflight) Window. The Start button now reads Quit. Use that to close RC before you exit FS so RC does not hang. Shutting down RC in the task manager if it gets stuck will not save the log file.

I also suggest renaming the log from rcv4.log to somethingelse.log so it does not get overwritten with the next RC session with Debug enabled. That way logs can be prepared.

In this case, enable debugging as soon as RC loads prior to loading your plan. After you start FS and do whatever is necessary so it moves the aircraft, alt-tab to  the RC window and quit it to save the log for zipping up and sending it in. Then you can stop FS if you wish.

You also might wish to include the entries from rcv4\data a4.csv and r4.csv for the troublesome airport in your e-mail with the log.

You might also use as your e-mail subject RC4 moves Aircraft - log included. In the body refer to this thread (link) and state to look at the later entries.
