incorrect ETA in progress page

Featured Replies

Hi guys,

Just bought the 777-300ER and got the SP1 and it is great but I'm getting completely erroneous ETA on my FMS progress page. i am currently on a BA virtual flight from EGLL to OKBK and the time is 1735 UTC - which is set on the clock. However, my progress page is showing i will reach my next waypoint at 1352 UTC. Now I have used the route uplink from a PFPX flight plan - has that got anything to do with it? if so, that is a bug because the correct time is shown on the PFPX plan.

or is there something I'm doing wrong?

also, i seem to be getting an 'ILS ANTENNA' caution for some reason

nice work guys like the weather radar and the flight dynamics changes. any help greatly received

Delete your custom panel states (not the PMDG states) and start from scratch. I had all kinds of weird alerts on the first run as it was using a custom pre-SP1 panel state.

Best regards,

Robin.

That usually comes from a panel state issue.

In this case, my bet is that it's because you didn't follow the instructions to delete your old, pre-SP1 panel states prior to installing the SP.

I have found one solution,

on your clock set the upper right knob to MAN then to UTC.

on my aircraft they have changed FMC to UTC time.

Marc.

Having similar woes. How did you delete the old panel states? Thought I should ask before I start mucking around.

Many thanks.

Ok, I admit installing SP1 without deleting my panelstates, following not reading the manual of course. I have issues with the clock.

What would be the easiest way to repair the damage? Could I simply make a new panelstate and delete the pre SP1 states, or is it a catch 22 situation?

Cheers,
