I'm so bummed. After a two year break I'm back at FSX harder than ever, and was all set to install this great new tool I heard about from Steve... DX 10 Fixer, and its no longer available! 

 

Are there any alternatives so that we can fix the DX 10 issues his tool took care of? I'm getting incredible frame rates with DX10 but the flashing and other issues are killing me :-(

 

Hoping there's something else out there to do what his tool did. I can't believe we can't get it anymore.

I wouldnt be surprised if he isnt still working on it, but being a one man team he obviously doesnt have the time to fix the worlds PC issues and develop at the same time. Lets wait and see. is one of teh best addons for FSX.

I tried that one, but my IVAO models was all white

Correct me if I'm worng, but as far as I know the white models are an issue of textures that aren't compatible with DX10. In this case the fixer wouldn't have helped either I believe, or does that program actually convert any textures to DX10-compatible ones?

Sorry if off topic, but how do I fix the white and unsharpness ivao models so that they are dx10 compatible?

Excuse my ignorance, Julian, but does that mean that the DX10 Fixer is/was actually able to convert textures to DX10 compatible ones (IIRC I read over at Aerosoft that incompatible textures are the reason for the white objects)? My understanding was that the program would only fix those issues due to the fact that MS never finished DX10 and the preview is broken to a certain extent.

Yes for the most part that is correct. 

I need the fixer urgently. Is ther no chance to get it?
