Hi, lately ALL my FlyTampa addons´ ground textures get blurry at night. I do have Steve fixer for DX10, but i still have this issue. Thanks in advance fot your help! -
I'm so bummed. After a two year break I'm back at FSX harder than ever, and was all set to install this great new tool I heard about from Steve... DX 10 Fixer, and its no longer available! Are there any alternatives so that we can fix the DX 10 issues his tool took care of? I'm getting incredible frame rates with DX10 but the flashing and other issues are killing me :-( Hoping there's something else out there to do what his tool did. I can't believe we can't get it anymore. Gavin

Downloaded from the Flight Sim Store (v1.3) yesterday and was suprised that it worked rather well with the VRS Superbug, only thing is the FLIR does not work in DX-10 mode but that is a minor issue as I can target through the ground radar, etc. I find that setting buffer pools to zero or having the reject thresh-hold at 256 and Sparse 4x SS the best for frames! Other minor gitches are when panning around I get momentary black tiles and obljects that are black for a short time before they get refreshed (re-darawn) with the appropraite texture color.. but this can be avoided by not panning around so much.. hehe One more thing... I like the way you can pop open the SteveDX10 Fixit app and switch between DX10 and DX9 on the fly with a push of the button :-) -
I just wanted to ask a quick question on Direct X 10 and 9. I've been getting around 20-24 average fps in the PMDG 737 with Direct X 9, and when I use Dx10 with the Fixer by Steve I get an average of 18-20 fps. A few months ago I installed FSX on my new pc and I did immediately started using the Fixer, I was getting 26-33 average fps, but also at the time using Dx9 gave me 15-18 fps? So it's completely the other way round now? I might just reinstall FSX again, that's what they say, reinstall FSX every few months.
