An iranian plane crashed today in tehran . it is said that there where over 40 people onboard

BTW it was an Antonov An-140

This is the second recent crash of this aircraft. On 10 August 2014 one broke up and burst into flames on takeoff in Tehran, also with 48 passengers on board - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Antonov_An-140 . Always sad to hear about the loss of life of so many. May they rest in peace.

Curiously, that news article referred to this turboprop aircraft as a "jet." This Ukrainian designed turboprop is assembled in Iran by HESA (Iran Aircraft Manufacturing Industrial Company). Three of the reported "engine failure" accidents were determined to be caused by a defective fuel control unit.
