Hi & welcome.

All this is, in my humble opinion, is that Dovetail/Steam will now be distributing FSX. I think that Microsoft has made a business decision to stop carrying inventory & is saving on world-wide distribution by licensing a 6-7 year old program to a gaming distributor.

Will it affect us? I dont think so. Those of us that already have FSX will probably stay with what we have, or upgrade to P3D, if we want te latest.

I agree with you, but i think it would be nice if they good possibly make another Flight sim based around Microsofts platform.

I think Dovetail is also are going to re-distribute Microsoft Flight which I think will be better if they market it better by adding the whole world and more variety of aircraft.
