November 3, 201411 yr nope, as i said, it´s working if I restart P3D 2.4, and if I only fly and do nothing it´s still working -> but if I choose something from P3D menu (or anything else) the effects are gone and with pressed scroll down (or some other defined keyboard button) nothing happens, and i can´t reactivate it again until restart of P3D ! i don´t look at the log file, and the files (Sweetfx config, the dll´s and the rest of them) are only im main P3D folder (not copied to any other folder such a system or windows folder) ! I´m not sure which step solved this problem (no tests after every step, sorry) but i did as follow: reinstalled DirectX runtime as posted above -> uninstalling windows update KB2670838 (could be the reason) rebuild P3D own shaders with SweetFX on rebuild SweetFX shaders (pressed break button on keyboard) with SweetFX on and off ! The issue with the P3D menu is still there, but as soon as I close the menu the effects are coming back, an I can also switch to fullscreen or windowed mode without problems !! Yuhuu ! Thank you ! November 3, 201411 yr Can anyone with sweet fx post a screenshot or two to show the difference between the standard 2.3 and a SweetFx one? January 23, 201511 yr I'm trying to uninstall SweetFX but if I remove the folder, P3d won't start. There's more than only the folder to remove. Spirit

Try to remove windows update KB2670838 this helped me.

January 3, 201610 yr My Only suggestion is to use the new installer. http://reshade.me/ It's so simple to use and works flawlessly with P3D. If you need a hand setting it up give us a shout. Pete
