B737-400 Panel ?

Recommended Posts

Anyone know of a really good one, with functioning overhead panels etc.? Could be payware, if no freeware. I can't find one ..

Many thanks,

Martin

Paul Scarrat's 737NG panel is my personal favorite.

The Boeing 737 Next Generation, commonly abbreviated as Boeing 737NG, is the name given to the −600/-700/-800/-900 series of the Boeing 737 airliner. It is the third generation derivative of the 737, and follows the 737 Classic (−300/-400/-500) series, which began production in the 1980s.

There is a version available for the Classics, too.

panel_733_252985.zip is the file name in the library here of the panel mentioned by Sid.

I looked at the Zipview of the panel.cfg and the main panel is indeed very detailed. The overhead is a composite gauge so was not described in panel.cfg.

The B733 and B734 panels should be very similar. It would be worth downloading to try with your model.

The NG series is the newer aircraft with a "glass cockpit" as gwillmot stated and is a different outfitted cockpit than the B734 and under. If you wish to go "modern" then you might wish to search for a package released by Aerosoft on CD of all four PMDG NG models 600 - 800. It used to be two for about $80 each pair but now I think $40 for all models. These are very detailed systems with a detailed overhead. (I have this set.) Aerosoft no longer stocks this but you might find it from other retailers. It was a sell out and there was a limited re-release.

One which I do not have is the I-Fly version:

http://www.aerosoft.com/cgi-local/us/iboshop.cgi?showd80!0,6850510220,11920 which I am not familiar with so do not know about the overhead detail.

The iFly is a very indepth simulation. Almost everything is reproduced and done in great detail. One of the best FS9 add ons out there IMO.

Feelthere 737 is my choice for 737 classic in FS9.  It's dated yes but it is very good...the best work of Feelthere IMHO.

Thanks for the replies. I'll have a look at the zip file mentioned, maybe a payware a/c...

Sorry for the delay in replying.
