August 23, 201411 yr Just a reminder, please take your "current" (title=) name of the aircraft you will be flying today from the aircraft.cfg and use the spreadsheet to enter it. Many times all players will have the same aircraft but the "title=" does not match. This can be due to updates that have/have not been done or unknown user modifications. At the best one can get an exact title. 2nd best, same aircraft, different skin, requires a repaint (provide link) and a new "title=". (Other scenarios goes here) At the worst, one could at least alias to another type/subtype. All in all, any of the above will make the MP experience better as long as the "title=" is provided. August 23, 201411 yr I don't fly online, but enjoyed your flight plan in PNW with Carenado's Cessna 185. Thanks!
August 23, 201411 yr I don't fly online, but enjoyed your flight plan in PNW with Carenado's Cessna 185. Thanks! Glad you enjoyed flying the route Nate. You are more than welcome to join us on-line. We are a pretty easy going bunch. If you have not flown on-line before we would be more than happy to help you get started. We use the FSX built in multiplayer (Direct Connect). We use the teamspeak freeware client for voice communication. You need a microphone/speakers or headset for teamspeak. We usually get together around 1845 UTC on the RTW teamspeak server at this address: ts.teamavsim.com. Feel free to stop by anytime just to say hello or if you would like some help getting setup for multiplayer. The more the merrier. August 23, 201411 yr Author Roman, you beat me to it! I went into the MP spreadsheet just now to put in a link to the old Chippie for those who don't have one, and you'd already done it. I think it's the paint scheme in [fltsim.0] that most closely matches the scheme I'll be using though. But thanks very much for putting the link in! See you all shortly!
August 23, 201411 yr Uggh! Unannounced, out of state, guests show up and the phrase get's muttered - "Why don't you stay for dinner?" Was really looking forward to this one. Will do it on duenna later. FS RTWR SHRS F-111 JoinFS Little Navmap
August 26, 201411 yr Got the flight done. It's just not the same without the "meeting of the minds". Fouled up right from the start, I think. Was positive I put 17:30 in for the local time. After Duenna start and just in the air it just didn't look like 5:30 in the eve. Took a look and it was 7:30, oh well, going to do this VFR night. WX was nice, just a bit of haze, clear ceiling and nearly no wind. Took it low and slow to take in the scenery, a bit different at night, but really nice in a different way. Thanks for the plan Nick. :Applause: Output Page / Output Text - One of the longest ever seen. ______________________________________________________________________ Entering Willemette Valley, banging head realizing my math isn't good. It's going to be a dark flight. A "sliver" of a moon @ (S12) Albany Municipal. "Just a bit more to the right please." (7S3) Stark's Twin Oaks is coming up. Leaving "Stark's", a nice Moonset with just a bit of the sliver showing. Over the ridge, entering Portland proper. Crossing over Bonneville Dam. Just west of (KCZK) Cascade Locks State Airport, crossing over "The Bridge of the Gods". All one has to do is to "Follow the Little Ants" to get to (KDLS) Columbia Gorge Rgnl/The Dalles.
