November 1, 201411 yr Congratulations Paul! Great experience! I will miss your updates, it's certainly been fun to track your progress. What's your next challenge? ;-) cheers! -E Enrique Vaamonde
November 1, 201411 yr Author Oh, I am not so eager to commit to 40 or 50 flights! I am enjoying my flying freedom for a while in the UK and PNW, sharpening my VOR navigation skills. i'd recommend it (or a much shorter version) as a way to learn the compass/map/dead reckoning skills learnt by all pilots. Using Save for continuity is great, too. Just advance the clock 8 hours and climb back in. The plane is right where you left it last night. A few ideas come to mind: USA coast to coast Length of the Mississippi/Amazon/Nile UK Lands End to John o Groats (or the Orkneys) The Andes. Amy's London to Capetown flight Thanks Enrique and VP, glad someone was reading! - Paul Elliott http://www.avsim.com/topic/450607-amy-johnson-london-to-australia-attempt/
