Eagerly awaiting the V2 Turbo Duke from RealAir, I did a flight with the good old model.

 

A short 1 hour jump from Glenns Falls (thanks to Ed Cox for his wonderful freeware scenery) to Flytampa's Montreal

 

Even if the orginal version is 3.5 years old, it remains a real pleasure to see and to fly.

 

But I hope the updated model is not too far (should be out in the next few weeks according to RealAir's website)

 

 

Parked at KGFL, a very, very nice piece of freeware, lovely regional airport with lots of details. Did I mention it is very nice ?

 

PT6s allows high climb rate provided you manage the temperatures closely.

 

Oil doors open, high speed, I could even ride up to 4000 ft/mn

 

Nice, thick cover progressively scattering as we approach Plattsburgh

 

 

 

 

Above Fort Chambly descending to 7 000 ft for an approach to the 24L

 

Messed up landclass on the Mount Saint Hilaire...

 

While on approach, I hear the ATC allowing a Dash 8 to take off from the 24L.

 

Slowing down with full flaps, I could avoid a go around

 

Very nice, slightly breezy approach (10-12 kts crosswind)

Very nice. I too am eagerly anticipating version 2 of the Turbine Duke for use in P3D.

Cool travel log.  I have the Carenado B200 King Air HD and I'm looking forward to trying out this new RealAir Turbo.
