October 16, 201411 yr I'm thinking of an eventual mobo and chip replacement as part of a system upgrade, but I'm wondering will this mean I need to get new licenses for all my fs software (and p3d) because it will be considered a new system? Thanks, Alex AMD 5830X Nvidia RTX 3060 Win 11

October 16, 201411 yr Author Okay thank you for the link that helps....do you know if I will need to re-purchase all my other add-ons? Cheers, Alex AMD 5830X Nvidia RTX 3060 Win 11
October 16, 201411 yr Highly unlikely. I've done plenty of big hardware upgrades over the years and have never had to repurchase any of my FS addons. i7-13700KF, 32gb DDR4 3200, RTX 4080, Win 11, MSFS 2024
October 16, 201411 yr I'm assuming if you can get the OS booted up using the new mobo on your old hard drive, there shoud be no reinstall required...here's hoping anyway (that's the route I may take in the next few months).
