October 25, 201411 yr Cracking shots Rob, any particular reason you are running default sky/cloud textures as opposed to REX4? Also do you use any cloud tweaks, I noticed some discussion on the forums regarding a "cloud diffuse"?? Cheers, Gordon MSFS & XP11 - Aviatek G1000 Complex Desktop Trainer - Fulcrum One Yoke - TPR Rudder Pedals - VF TQ6 Throttle - LG 55" OLED Display
October 25, 201411 yr Great shots, Rob. However, don't you find all those warning lights distracting? October 25, 201411 yr don't you find all those warning lights distracting? Only if the aircraft doesn't fly ... batt should be dead, passengers should be dead unless they used their masks, but no ICE this day. "Make me" don't "tell me". It's only a $35 aircraft, so not complaining. any particular reason you are running default sky/cloud textures as opposed to REX4? Not really, I've used REX before in other series ... I go back and forth. My cloud.fx is an unmodified v2.4 ... I go back and forth between what the clouds should look like at this time of day ... I look outside and go "oh yeah, they do look like that" but then I take into account my view angle (sea level). I think the best solution here is for someone to come up with a UI to adjust cloud.fx and the associated textures used ... especially sky textures as they also have a dramatic impact on how the clouds look. I think it'll take a package that can work with all three (HDR/Cloud, textures, weather) including weather to come up with that perfect real world look (at various elevations). The only for sure is that no two people are going to agree on how the cloud/sky should look, so give one the tools to allow one to make it look the way they want it to look. Cheers, Rob.
