October 26, 201411 yr Hi folks At the default heathrow with REX 4 and QW 146 After some minutes I got OOM, with all the readed posts I think its delimma. The question is : LM, Did the addons was in the account during development and production of the P3D V2 ? What you think ????
October 26, 201411 yr Commercial Member I think you have something wrong with your system. Ed Wilson Mindstar AviationMy Playland - I69
October 26, 201411 yr Yup - you've definitely got something buggered up on your system if you're getting OOMs with just those addons.

October 26, 201411 yr Unless you have a pc of comparable capability to Rob A., aka an I7 6 core with a pair of Titan gpu's, I would turn some of your settings back down. Jazz just my .02c

Jazz just my .02c The power of the computer is unrelated.. you could have the most powerful computer in the world running P3D v2, but it's still going to run into the 32bit memory limit at the same time a cheap PC would.

Irrelevant... the issue is the user's system, not the sim. Ed Wilson Mindstar AviationMy Playland - I69
October 27, 201411 yr Yeah something specific to your system is the problem. I have been able to do things in P3D I could only dream about doing in FSX. With Aerosoft Airbus I actual was able to fly a whole duty day. I started out at YHBA and finished up at NZCH after two stops. In FSX I would have been luck to complete the first leg with out OOM on arrival. I know this is all subject to each individual systems. I don't remember who said it "just do whatever works best for you". This is absolutely true whether you like X-Plane, P3D or FSX....! I think the only reason P3D is starting to leave the pack behind, is the constant work/updates that is going on at LM. If I was a betting man, I would be placing my chips on LM for now. They continue to improve on something we all thought was about to be pulled off life-support when MS bailed. happy flying & GO GIANTS.........! 5Take Care, Will Clark My computer: Intel 14900K, Motherboard ROR Maximus Z790 Formula, PSU Dark Power 1600, Ram DDR5 (7200) Vengeance 32GB CL38, ASUS 4090, Keyboard Logitech ASUS, Mouse ROCCAT LEADR Wireless, Corsair M.2 SSD 4TB x2, Headset Astro A50 Wireless, Microphone Elgato Wave 3, Stream Deck Elgato XL, GoXLR, Loopdeck Live, Chair Steelcase Gesture with Headrest, Case: Lian Li O11 Dynamic XL ROG White, Custom Built water cooling, Ek Lian li xl distro plate, Fittings EK & Bitspower, Monitor LG C1 48 OLED, Desk Speakers Audio Engine A5+ White.
October 27, 201411 yr Soon this OOM error will be history. Testing now a tool that fixes this issue by reducing in real-time FSX memory while flying! Flew some long flight with settings at max and no more crashes! Cheers

Flew some long flight with settings at max and no more crashes! Cheers That is a very, very dangerous 'tool'. 1 - It doesn't 'own' the memory and thus shouldn't take control of it. 2 - It doesn't have a clue if the sim is using a section of memory or not. Seems to me I recall another 'tool' that was offered as a product that did this very same thing... and seems to me I recall it wasn't what it claimed to be.
