Before I got PFPX, I used to find out how much fuel an aircraft burned per hour (about 6500kg for the 777).

Then I go on flightaware and find a flight I want to fly.

Find out how long the flight is scheduled to take (gate to touchdown)

Mentally add 1.5 hours

now take (hours flight takes + 1.5) times (hourly fuel burn).

It's quick and dirty and sometimes you'll get it pretty wrong, but it's a start.

 

PFPX can do far more accurately, taking winds and cruise altitudes and all into account.

I searched the Internet for UGGH but find no results. What is the name if the airport?

 

EGC in you FMC is a valid VOR/DME for Elizabeth City NC. Page 1 of the FMC looks like some kind of departure north out of KIAD that is all screwed up. Select a CAPITAL EIGHT SID with vectors to DAILY then J61 to WETRO and then direct EGC.

I use Flightbeam KIAD also. LOULU and  RLNDI are fixes in the RLNDI SID which heads to the west/northwest. Elizabeth City NC is southeast of KIAD. So you need to select the CAPITAL8 SID with vectors to the DAILY fix.

 

Where is this flight going anyway? What's its destination?

also the airplane climbed to 320 finally then stabilized there it was supposed to step to 335

OMG when I rejected the perf init from the co route and put my own my aircraft went to cruising but it sill wont follow legs whatever

omg also leaving flaps down until 10000 helps ALOT!

Why does leaving flaps down help?

And yes I know how to fly fsx I have done several successful flights in the 747x and the NGX
