I was wondering what the level D 767 sounds are like? Are they good?Any comments gratefully received.

Yup, very realistic, actually they seem a bit too realistic for some people, since I've read quite a bit of complaining about them.. For example you can't hear the engines from the cockpit, just as you can't in real life..Me personally, I just love them!/fredrik

(You can't hear the engines from the cockpit)... at cruise altitudes. :) You can hear them faintly start up, and during takeoff you have a pretty good roar, but they fade away at altitude and you only hear rushing air.That was a refreshing change from other sim airplanes. In addition, the landing gear and rolling sounds are supurb. The gear wind noise is great!You do NOT hear the APU at ALL - which seems to be a bone that lots of people like to pick. But this is fully realistic. All in all, it's a fantastic soundset. -Greg

Greg is right. The sounds are almost perfect. You can hear the engine whine up on takeoff when you hit the EPR button. At cruise altitude you don't hear much except the wind noise which is true to life. The only thing i think could be improved is the thrust reduction just after takeoff as there is too much of a difference between the two power settings :DCheers

And you can hear the APU from outside to which is pretty neat. The landing gear wind noise is great, however the loss of sounds when pressing p is annoying. WIll be fixed in patch :-)

Any indication on when the patch will be released? In the absence of being able to browse the LDS support forum I am waiting for the patch release before considering purchase. Not that I have any time to learn another complex aircraft as my hands are very full at present with the Flight 1 ATR.Bruceb
