December 21, 201411 yr Commercial Member Hey everyone, So I started noticing that some of my addon aircraft are suffering from what appears to be a font issue in the virtual cockpits. Anything that is supposed to have a digital appearance looks like Arial or Sans Serif. I honestly could not tell you when it started, as I just fired up the Maddog for the first time in at least 6 months, and magically my digital display fonts were all messed up. I also found this to be the case in my PMDG Jetstream 41, as well as the Carenado King Air B200. Searched for a solution, but the only topic here was a similar issue with the PMDG 737, and no solution was ever posted. Any ideas? Have a look: PMDG Jetstream. Look at the TAS readout on the glareshield. Carenado B200. Look at the altimeter, altitude alerter, and engine instruments. December 21, 201411 yr You are likely missing a font.. maybe you uninstalled something that uninstalled the font for you.. If you can figure out the name of the missing font, it would be easy to fix.. Bert

If you can figure out the name of the missing font, it would be easy to fix.. Thanks for the quick reply, Bert. I feel like if the font were missing, it simply wouldn't display anything. Maybe I'm wrong. How would I even begin to identify the missing font? Joe - Chief Pilot & Lead Tester - Flysimware Simulation Software Captain - Gulfstream IV-SP ATP/CFI/AGI/EMB-505/LR-JET/G-IV
December 21, 201411 yr This is from my notes: I had re-installed each airplane into a temporary FSX folder on my new C: drive, justto get the licenses registered, but was actually using my previous FSX installoff my G: drive which I had physically moved over from the old system. When I went to look in the FSX\Fonts directory on the C: drive, I found several LCD fonts which were not on my G: drive, so I copied them over..
