March 23, 201511 yr Author For SimConnect, you can have a look in Windows Config panel, installed software, it should be seen there. I don't use the last ASN pack, but SP1B as I'm still under P3Dv2.4 (SP2 works only with P3Dv2.5). Can you open the ASN radar API documentation to see if something changed since SP1B? Can someone reports a successfull use with FSX SP2 + last ASN pack for FSX? March 24, 201511 yr Hi Roland, - Installing 0.9 version didn't help. - I don't see SimConnect in Program and Functions window in Config Panel Lucas Lukasz Trzaskowski
March 25, 201511 yr Author Lucas, That's very strange that you don't see any SimConnect installation. You should have a look in that thread (event if it's for P3D) where they speak about the various SimConnect versions. http://forum.avsim.net/topic/463120-stutters-vsync-simconnect-a-possible-source-of-the-problem/#entry3186212 Did you opened the radar API doc to see if HiFi has changed something in SP2? March 25, 201511 yr Did you opened the radar API doc to see if HiFi has changed something in SP2? Yes, but I don't understand what the document says  ...also...I didn't found what you ask  Can someone - who has JS41 - report if meet similiar problem? Lukasz Trzaskowski
March 26, 201511 yr Author Lucas, I think you should first try to make it working as a pop-up. I'm pretty sure that as soon as the pop-up version is functional, the JS41 integration will work like a charm. March 26, 201511 yr http://gyazo.com/b658b33d7f2f71ea232d36a0855ec846 I tried putting the radar gauge in the Carenado C550.... is there a way to make the backgornd transparent to see the underlying info in the VC ? Also thereby being able to switch the radar display off and see the MFD without radar... ...or can someone make a file for this plane ... thanks aero PS... you need to turn off REFLECTIONS to let the clickspots work.... ...is there a fix for that ?
March 26, 201511 yr Author I think your case with the C550 may be similar to the Majestic Dash-8 Q400. So you should try the Q400 special integration using the "ConeRadGauge" model. Refer to the manual and try to apply the Q400 declaration. And please let us know the result. No fix for the reflection tip of course, it's not related to my gauge but to the Carenado VC model. March 26, 201511 yr ....just to add.. I am on FSX-SE and the reflections are a problem but I don't think they cause a problem in P3D...
March 26, 201511 yr ...this is the rough position of the gauge overlay in the Carenado C550 MFD... It has the issue where the underlying screen has a flick swap for a few seconds now and then Would be better if it could only show the colours , not the black background.. gaugeXX=RolasnRadar!ORadGauge, 561, 41, 412, 316, sweep|icing //|ghost http://gyazo.com/beeb6c52c41aba0100819a5787017124
March 27, 201511 yr Author Did you try the "ConeRadGauge" model? Roland Roland MSFS my local airport release: LFOR Chartres-Metropole MSFS Plugins RAAS (registered FSUIPC7 required) MSFS FX for Objects & Landmark in France (Steam and smoke) and Aerial coverage for French nuclear sites
March 27, 201511 yr Hi Roland ... I tried again with the coneradguage... when I use this I can't find a way to switch it on.. no clickspots and don't have gps unit for the buttons.. ...but the way it appears - no black background - means if I could control it it may work... aero
March 27, 201511 yr Author You are right, ConeRadGauge has no click spots, I forgot. It's driven from Q400 knobs... If you PM me an email, I can send you a DLL version with click spots enabled in ConeRadGauge so you can give it a try. This beta has also an option to start it ON in the case you can't use the click spot. March 28, 201511 yr Author I just find out why the TEST colors was not displayed with all use cases ... March 28, 201511 yr Hi Roland, unfortunatelly, in pop-up mode radar is not working too :( Could you write who reported you working radar in VC? Maybe I could compare panel.cfg file with someone who has your radar - maybe I do something wrong... Lukasz Trzaskowski
March 29, 201511 yr Author Lucas, Again, I'm quite sure that it's not a JS41 problem. So can you double check these items: The file "RolASNRadar.dll" is found in your "Gauge" folder In the JS41 panel.cfg, at the end of [Vcockpit02] section, you have added: gauge06=RolasnRadar!oRadGauge, 532, 525, 472, 331, sweep|icing In your "DLL.xml" you find the following entry: <Launch.Addon> <Name>as_connect</Name> <Disabled>False</Disabled> <Path>as_srv\as_btstrp.dll</Path></Launch.Addon> Roland Roland MSFS my local airport release: LFOR Chartres-Metropole MSFS Plugins RAAS (registered FSUIPC7 required) MSFS FX for Objects & Landmark in France (Steam and smoke) and Aerial coverage for French nuclear sites
