April 22, 201511 yr Author Pascal, As you are now able to drive the radar, may I suggest that you change the declaration as follow: gauge02=RolasnRadar!oRadGauge, 620,1460,580,470, sweep|beam|icing The radar will then start off (much more realistic) and you will get the benefit of the new beam animation You should be able to adjust the gain as well from the Gps "Page knob" events. I installed the gauge into PMDG MD-11 as your instructions: 1 - Downloaded and installed Microsoft VC++2013 2 - Pasted the gauge into FSX Gauge directory 3 - Added "WindowXX=RolASN weather Radar" to the plane's panel CFG 4 - Also added "[WindowXX] size_mm=500,500 zorder=4 gauge00=RolasnRadar!ShellRadGauge, 0,0,,, sweep|beam|icing|nogps" to the plane's panel CFG but I've got a black square instead. I use Windows 7 Ultimate (fully updated) with FSX Acceleration.

Following your declaration you should obtain only the 2D Shell pop-up. Do you see the Bendix Shell (with its knobs) when you open the pop-up? You need a SimConnect installation. Do you see one in Windows panel/Installed software list? Did you installed the x86 version of the VC++ 2013 redistributables ? April 24, 201511 yr I meant both in MD-11 2D & 3D panels. I always use VC in MD-11 and just as a test I selected 2D panel in FSX settings to see weather the gauge work in that or not. Yes my PC has SimConnect installed. My operating system is 7 64 so I installed version 64 of VC++2013 . Windows did not allow me to install 86 version. and my panel cfg is the same as you posted
April 24, 201511 yr Author As written in the manual, you have to install the x86 version of the libraries. I'm running Seven x64 as well, but Fsx/P3D are x86, then you need to install x86 libs. I don't see why your OS would forbid that. April 24, 201511 yr I use the 2D version in the VC as a popup without the Bendix shell. The gauge works perfectly using the middle mouse wheel to activate the various modes, change range, tilt and gain. In my case, the Bendix shell tended to mask the labeling of the above features, so using "the black square" is actually preferred.
April 25, 201511 yr Thanks Roland it now works perfectly.I think it would be good if you include an opener for this version of your gauge like Bryns'. How cloud I assign a key for opening this gauge without using FSX Menu Bar?
