May 23, 200521 yr If you think the plane is good now, just try it with Track IR - it will totally blow your mind! Krister LindénEFMA, Finland------------------

May 28, 200521 yr What can I possibly say that hasn't already been said... What a FANTASTIC airplane from a FIRST-RATE company. I've been getting away from GA lately with procedural sims such as PMDG's 737. I bought the SF from its original incarnation, and this upgrade is the bomb! I own every airplane made by RealAir and have NEVER been disappointed. Great job Rob and Sean, and thank you AGAIN!
May 28, 200521 yr These folks could make any GA aircraft that has already been done, that I've already bought, and I would buy it again. The work is just that good. May 28, 200521 yr Chris, even if it has been said before, it is important that every SF-260/RealAir fan voice his/her opinion so that simmers in search of a new aircraft/flight experience be informed of the exceptional quality of the SF-260.Tony
May 28, 200521 yr Well, I bought it and cannot believe the sense of realism on the turn from base to final! It has been a vintage year so far for GA, but there has been something of a concentration on the cabin types, not that there's anything wrong with that but this is just so, well, immersive.Sadly I missed an opportunity to fly for real in one of these birds at Fairoaks a year or so back, so this was worth every penny for the `what might have been`!There is an x-factor in some sim products that just ensure they stand apart. The SF260 was already there. And it still is. Just more so!Allcott

May 29, 200521 yr I have had the SF.260 for quite a while (don't have the new version though), and I must say that I've used it a lot more for instrument flying/approach practice (esp. during the time I was working on my instrument rating) than spins or other aero stuff, due to its very nice (large) panel and good flight model. So even if you don't ever get upside down, it's still a great alternative to other mid-performance airplanes for realistic flying. Also, I'm not a big fan of watching my airplane fly around from the outside, but I've spent more time in the spot view with this plane than most others due to the very nice exterior model (I like watching the canopy slide open!).I have the Spit and it's a fantastic airplane. I will probably upgrade my 260, mostly to support this great company (but also to get the new features of course!).Dave Blevins System: Asus P8Z68 Deluxe/Gen3 mobo *** i7 2700K @ 5gHz w/ Corsair H80 cooler NVidia GTX 570 OC *** 8 GB 1600 Corsair Vengeance DRAM *** CoolerMaster HAF X case System overclocked and tuned for FSX by fs-gs.com Thrustmaster HOTAS Warthog stick/throttle & CH Products Pro Pedals Various GoFlight panels *** PFC avionics stack
May 29, 200521 yr Hello!Just today I bought the new Marchetti as well, and I have to congratulate the team on making a really enjoyable and complete addon GA aircraft. Probably the best of like to date :).I shall have many enjoyable hours on it. Thanks for keeping the quality first!br,Tero PPL(A)
May 29, 200521 yr "There is an x-factor in some sim products that just ensure they stand apart. The SF260 was already there. And it still is. Just more so!"Hi Allcott,When we chose the SF260 nearly four years ago, almost no-one had heard of it (at least in the simulator world). We were inspired by its predecessor, the Falco which is just georgous. That aircraft has a certain something about it which is so attractive. If I could identify the X-factor i the SF260 it is simplicity, flyability and viewability!Kind Regards,Rob Young Robert Young - retired full time developer - see my Nexus Mod Page and my GitHub Mod page
