February 2, 201511 yr Author Progress: ready: -add TOGA hidden button -> pitch 10 deg, wingslevel and preselect 2000ft/min (still testing) -add GA ind and logic on EADI -ALT SEL takes actual VS not 500 -KTN ind EADI only visible if IAS on -HDG ind EADI disappears after 3 sek without action and on LNAV also off -ALT SEL button displays now ARM and CAP -LNAV Button displays now 1 or 2, depends from day of the week in progress: -TOGA logic -Vapp display -V1 VR V2 Callouts -LOC interception very bad, we investigate on this Regards Cheers Janek
February 2, 201511 yr Any chance to merge your mods with Bert's mods? Do you mean the GTN750 integration? I've done that: https://www.dropbox.com/s/urmf4huhpcggb2t/-2015-feb-2-005.jpg?dl=0 I can't share the files for this yet, but I'm talking to Janek to include the files in his mod. I've even adjusted the VC a little bit to match which clickspots of the GTN to find where. Due to the way the Citation is programmed there will sadly be a bug that makes the old keys shine through if the panel backlighting is on. Greetings from the 737 flightdeck!
February 2, 201511 yr Any chance to merge your mods with Bert's mods? I think there may be come conflicts in the AP gauge handling now - BUT, even better, is to have some versions of the Citation II with Janek's ISG suite (+mods).............. and some separate versions with Bert's F1 GTN750 suite (+mods). I've done this and all it involved was creating a new folder in the aircraft's main folder called "Panel.isg". I then have Janek's modified panel.cfg and modified gauges in that one, and I then set up some new repaint entries in the aircraft.cfg, that use the new "Panel=isg" option. Two minute job and you can have either a proper FMS equipped aircraft like Janeks, or a GTN750 equipped aircraft like Bert's as the mood takes you!

However for handling the radios and transponder and having a good visual the GTN 750 would be nice as a pop up and in Bert's MFD location. 'Icing on the Cake'. Cheers all. February 2, 201511 yr Author Hello, I think it's no big deal, the GTN to integrate into the position of the MFD as it has done by EMI.If the GTN is to be used, however, as the primary nav source, it is difficult for me because I do not own the GTN.Since there are two possibilities:First, you wait until I buy the GTN, not a good idea by the way. :( Second ask Bert, he is an absolute specialist with with integration of GTN in the citation. I sent him all the data if its be necessary. But I would wait for V1.2 or 1.3 because there are nice improvements (note the last entries of mine). I have not always time for the citation and I want to make everything as accurate as possible, it takes time. Some things are difficult to implement, but so far I have always found a way. Stay tuned I will give news almost daily, possibly carenado is faster with a update :o Another Topic: I need someone to try fly different settings in the AP section. It is specially for LOC Approach on the ILS. It seems that the PID settings are not properly set on the AP. It is not possible to capture the LOC without override and follow the LOC in stable condition. Which makes it necessary to edit the aircraft.cfg the AP section. specially the: nav_proportional_control, nav_integrator_control ,nav_derivative_control, nav_integrator_boundary, nav_derivative_boundary Is there any experts for this? Thanks to all supporters. Cheers Cheers Janek

The GTN uses the default FS GPS route for the AP to follow. Therefore, if you select the navsource in the GTN to GPS you can follow the route with the Carenado default NAV mod (GPS in the FMA). In case you own the Reality XP GPS it should work the same way. That's how I currently fly the Citation. Greetings from the 737 flightdeck!
February 2, 201511 yr Yes, as Emi says, no issue with F1 GTN; integration is really simple (beyond the sizing of screens, which is where Bert has done all the hard work for us). But the other aspect is that both Janek and Bert have both done AP mods and improvements. Bert's have been to make the AP operate more like the real unit, and Janek's have been more around implementing ISG's LNAV and VNAV algorhythms. So where the gauge files for AP are concerned, I think it's "one or the other", hence what I was suggesting above about having a separate and independent Panel folder, for each.
February 2, 201511 yr Author Therefore, if you select the navsource in the GTN to GPS you can follow the route with the Carenado default NAV mod (GPS in the FMA). Ok good to know, but all FMS Switches and FMAs are now edited for ISG strings. When its ready i build a GPS version for GTN users. Or maybe Bert ^_^ I starting also to modify the AP logic step by step. Cheers Janek
February 3, 201511 yr Ok good to know, but all FMS Switches and FMAs are now edited for ISG strings. When its ready i build a GPS version for GTN users. Or maybe Bert ^_^ I starting also to modify the AP logic step by step. One thing I really really want from your mod and I assume it doesnt conflicts with Bert's mods is the speeds placard. Looks awesome and really useful!
February 3, 201511 yr hii Janek, just got back from school, turn on the simulator, fired up the carenado citation and flew a short flight from WARR(juanda) to WADD(ngurah rai-bali), wooww, now i can fly a SID/STAR procedures seamlessly this time, i didn't notice any short aligment time with EADI 1, it works great so far, and i think it near perfect, i didn't tried the VNAV function yet. even the heading light button turn off when i activated the LNAV (close to real avionics). didn't see any trouble except for non working default weather radar (which is fine because carenado weather radar was bad on depicting weather) ,i had tried it on fsx and prepar3d v2.4, both of them works ok. i'll try the vnav and will try for a medium flight from WARR to WIII(soekarno-hatta) and i'll report back to you if there is any trouble.. for more realism i just change the default sound with TSS cessna citation, and guess what.. now my carenado citation become really really realistic and sounds like the real citation II.. the default sound was way too dull, even if i change the thrust position, the engine sound's still static, but with this TSS, wowww ,combine with your tweaked ISG panel avionics, carenado become close to reality. keep up the good work my friend..
February 3, 201511 yr Janek - I don't use the VNAV functionality of ISG in this aircraft* but can you confirm, whether ISG's VNAV mode utilizes proper IAS hold function of the Citation, or whether it just uses a default VS, along with an autothrottle mode to 'hold' speed? *because no Citation S550s have VNAV autopilot coupling, only VNAV advisory as part of FMC upgrades.
February 3, 201511 yr Author Hello, it uses only default VS with level off at points that you have set. Craig I send you a new set to your mailbox.... Cheers Janek
