January 18, 201511 yr I was just fixing up my AFCAD for FlightZone's Portland scenery and after I was done I went into the sim to see the results of my AFCAD fix. While going around the airport I noticed a rather large mound that is going along the shore of the Columbia river and it is between the river and runway 10L/28R. (it follows the shoreline) I don't think I noticed it there before. I was wondering if that is supposed to be there (maybe it's for flood protection?) or do I have a mesh error? I do have mesh, but it is not installed (I only install mesh when I am flying in the area).
January 18, 201511 yr Hi Joseph, you can try this: http://library.avsim.net/search.php?SearchTerm=pdx_plateau_flatten.zip&CatID=root&Go=Search or if you have FT Seattle you can experiment with moving it to higher or lower priority. Best Regards Uwe
January 18, 201511 yr Hi Joseph, I just checked my KPDX scenery and can confirm that there is no mound along the river's edge. Something has definitely gone wrong with your setup. Graeme Butler
January 19, 201511 yr Author uwescooby, thank you! That file from the avsim library fixed the problem.
January 19, 201511 yr Not to derail the topic, but concerning FlightZone.... Being an FSX/P3D guy, I can't express how much I miss their KPVD scenery (as that's where I learned to fly). It was spot on. _________________________________ -Dan Everette CFI, CFII, MEI 7900X OC @ 4.8GHz | ASRock Fatal1ty X299 Professional | 2 x EVGA GTX 1080 Ti FTW3 (SLI) | 32GB G.Skill DDR4 2800
