January 29, 201511 yr I have no experience with intel (i3 i5 i7) etc. Would someone be so kind as to let me know what and AMD Phenom II black 965 clocked to 4.2 would be similar to with Intel products? Thanks in advance. Respectfully, Jet
January 29, 201511 yr Probably a i5 2500K stock lol | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |
January 29, 201511 yr Probably similar to a stock dual-core Intel Pentium G3258. Overclock the G3258, and it blows the 965 out of the water. I had the AMD Phenom II X4 965 BE, and it was a good CPU, but it's going nearly six years old this year, and that makes it a very, very old lady. Daniel Moser
January 29, 201511 yr Probably a i5 2500K stock lol Not even close. Much better compared with i7 920... Heres an old test from nov 2010(Phenom II x6 test, but you can fint the X4 a bit down that list). January 30, 201511 yr Author AH! Thanks so much! The downside is I do in fact have an old setup. The good news is it runs FSX rather well, not PMDG well, but well enough. Even better news is to get a whole lot more I dont have to spend a whole lot more! (Why I have been waiting to upgrade) Respectfully, Jet
