If you are experiencing sound problems with the new V1.2 update, please do this:

 

 

Note: Please keep any sound questions in this single thread to keep things organized.

 

 

 

1. Disable UAC (USER ACCOUNT CONTROL) fully if you have not already done so.

 

2. Make sure FSX with run with Admin rights.

 

Right click on the FSX.EXE and select 'Run this program as an Administrator'.

 

3. DELETE this folder located in AppData:

 

C:\Users\********YOUR USER NAME****\AppData\Roaming\FS2Crew2010\Versions\PMDG777

 

4. Re-install FS2Crew 777.

 

Right click on the FS2Crew 777 installer and select "Run as Admin".

 

5. You will need to re-activate FS2Crew via the Config Manager.

Also it may help to check the CFG button if the sound source is set to the correct device. I notice that if it isnt set correctly, you will hear the FO when he enters the cockpit but when he puts on his virtual headset, you don't hear anything.

Bryan, I followed your directions but unfortunately no luck, I don't have the FO's voice if I don't enable and disable HS first. Not a big issue, but just for info.  To tcas_climb: I can't select another sound source, I have only "HS: Digital audio (S/PDIF) (High Definition Audio Device)" available.

I followed your directions but unfortunately no luck.

While I can hear the FO going out for the walk around (and coming back), their are no sound when I call for the checklist (button version) and obviously no reply from the FO.  Same for the FA or the PA.  No sound either for the Briefs.

For now, reverting back to V1.1

Hi everyione. Before installing the new version i had no problems while yesterday when i talked to the ramp manager i head perfectly and can answer with the FO she follows my requirments but never speak.

 

I tried to delete the folder and follow the prceure suggested with no luck at all. I unistalled the version 1.2 and installed the previouse verson and the FO is back to life. I uninstalled the previouse version installed again the new one and the FO is on strike. Maybe in the new version u simulated the possibility for crew member to join to unions?

Try cycling the HS button on the FS2Crew Main Panel.

 

That worked for some people.

 

 

 

I'll solve this shortly.
