Brand new PC & install wont start missing MSCVR100.dll

Hi, brand new PC, factory built by scan, first run tonight, installed Prepar3d. The sim wont start, I get an error saying MSCVR100.dll is missing.

Tried searching online but P3D site seems down and all posts mentioning this here seem to be about crashes in game, which I have not got to yet...Can anyone help please? Thanks!

have you tried downloading the dll from Microsoft? Do you already have one installed in WIndows? Not enough information. Also try either a repair install or a complete reinstall of P3d 2.5

It is also installed when you install P3DV2.5 and PMDG 777 for P3D as these programs use Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 for proper installation of these programs and that file is part of Microsoft Visual 2010.
