Comparison - Zinertek HD Airport Graphics vs Dirk Stuck Design using FTX Global/REX

Featured Replies

Attached are before and after screenshots that I made in my assessment of Zinertek HD Airport Graphics and my default which was using GXT vehicles, on REX theme, in FTX Global textures.

The first shot is my default (REX, Global, GXT)

The second shot is with Zinertek HD, which replaces, REX, GXT and the default buildings.

You be the judge, is it better or just different.

Looks different but how much better is in the eyes of the beholder. I will say that the buildings are quite a bit darker though.

Agreed!  Also, while I have chosen a lighter concrete version of runway, REX has darker asphalt sets available as well.

The ground concrete is too dark. I'd take the original concrete and everything else from Zinertech.

For me it is 50/50, some building is better in one and others in the second software. With your REX setup, runway is too bright, but when using Zinrtech, some bulding are too darker. But some pics for the "airport building" (not hangar, sorry, I am not English) are really cool with Zinertech (1st floor more detailed).

Wow, I have forgotten how bad default airports look since I only fly in and out of third party airports. I like the Zenertek better, IMHO.
