What I really like about X-Plane is the way the runway lights light up the approach (3rd last picture).

X-Plane is excellent - even on my (now) modest system, and 64bit already. I can't see FF moving to FSX, and P3D with it's limitations of 32bit, but take the plunge to X-Plane, there is a steep learning curve, (it took me about two weeks to get set up the way I wanted,but there is a very helpful forum out there and plenty of videos (check FroogleSim)
