June 17, 200520 yr you must turn on the full cuttoff valves. See page 22 of manual. He wont pull the switches up for you. Brent Lewis
June 17, 200520 yr turn on the full cut off valves? thanks but where?and when do i do this before he starts the engines? I7-10700F RTX 3070 32 Gig Ram
June 17, 200520 yr On the throttle panel. There are those switches that you pull up that allow the fuel to flow, hence turning on the engines. Do it when N1 reaches 16% or somethingThe correct name is the START LEVER Brent Lewis
June 17, 200520 yr ok kool, thanks i think i worked it outthanks for your help!i will try it now in Fs2crew. I7-10700F RTX 3070 32 Gig Ram
June 17, 200520 yr > Do it when N1 reaches 16% or somethingJust for the record:It is when N2 reaches 20% that you should move the Start Lever out of Cutoff and into Idle Detent.
June 17, 200520 yr hi yes this is what i wasnt doingthanks i have go the engine to start but when i push it back to the buttom the engine shuts off again ? I7-10700F RTX 3070 32 Gig Ram
June 17, 200520 yr Author Commercial Member Hello Clayton,Once the engines are running, you need to leave the fuel levers up in the idle position. Only move them down to cutoff when you want to turn off the engines.Cheers,Bryan B. York FS2Crew Web Site / FS2Crew Facebook Page / FS2Crew Discord
June 17, 200520 yr hi bryan all sorted now thankshad my first flight from sfo to lax, it was pretty good, i flew in VC however when the FO was doing his taxi chk etc i got alot of stuttering / interruptions when he was doing his thing with the switches.also my joystick assignments didnt work for switchin in outside view, i dont know what happened there, i have a cyborg jstick and my switching pressing the nominated buttons on the jstick didnt work.also the program doesnt really decrease your workload you still have to call for flaps / gear etc etc, it would have been good if the FO did these things automatically.he calls 'localiser alive' it would have been good if he calls also for 'glidescope alive'another thing with the FA a pop up appears regarding coffee, however i dont actually hear her requesting coffee all i do is press the Green box and all i hear is from the captain saying "yes coffee please" same with sandwich i dont hear her asking if i'd like a sandwich. June 18, 200520 yr Author Commercial Member Hello Clayton,Make sure you install the updates found on the FS2Crew Downloads page. The FO will call 'glideslope alive' when it moves off the pegs. You of course need to have your Nav radios tuned to an ILS freq first.Joystick buttons: Not an an FS2Crew issue.Regarding the work load issue: It wouldn't be realistic for the PNF to extend the flaps automatically. As the PF you have to command him to set the flaps.Cheers,BryanP.S. Why don't you post your questions in the FS2Crew Support forum? B. York FS2Crew Web Site / FS2Crew Facebook Page / FS2Crew Discord
