March 24, 201511 yr Do you have the latest FSUIPC installed? I had the same issue and found a thread mentioning that the Immersion package requires FSUIPC to work. I installed the latest version which fixed the black smoke. Michael Gadeberg

March 24, 201511 yr Commercial Member I don't use FSUPIC .. and I don't have any problem ..hmm You will not see Wing condensation and other humidity-related stuff without FSUIPC I am at a loss. Uninstalled. Reinstalled. Deleted shaders. Graphics drivers are good. Any thoughts or help? Thanks in advance. There seems to be an error in your current Prepar3D installation. These effects are using a default FSX/P3D texture file called fx_1.bmp in your /effects/texture/ folder. It probably was deleted by mistake by you or another application. Since this file doesn't come with our installer, I may suggest repairing P3D or reinstalling it. You might also ask a friend to send you the file but other files might also be missing in your sim. Hope this answers the issue! Let me know if you get to fix it! Keven Menard Technical Director, //42.
