July 3, 200520 yr Ed,For me there is no need to do any tweaks. As I wrote before, you can turn the panel and landing lights on using "L". After that you can switch on and off the landing lights using the panel switches, without turning the panel lights off. When you turn on the landing lights the panel just becomes a little reddish. So if the panel is not illuminated just press "L" once. After that you are set. Just use the panel switches for the remainder of your session.Best regrds,Henri
July 3, 200520 yr Maybe for you... but I dislike the red glow at night. Ed nice mod! Can you share this mod with the rest of us?
July 4, 200520 yr Instruments Henri instruments, If you turn the landing lights of your instrument lights go off, i don't care about panel lighting I want to read my instruments. And when I switch my landing lights on I wish to light up the runway and not my cockpit. With my mods every light switch will do as it should with instrument lighting automatic.I will share my mods with anyone who would like them. I need to edit them for the Carenado default radio's (it is different for my Reality-XP config) .This will be done by early evening U.K time.send me an email and I will send the relevant files ...if you like them I will ask Carenado if I can upload them. :) regardsEd http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/120856.jpgAMD Athlon 64 3500+, 1024Mb PC3200 DDR, 300Gb HD 128Mb DDR Nvidia 6600GT PCI Express, Audigy 2 ZSCH Products Yoke, Pedals and Throttle Quadrant My FS Videos

July 4, 200520 yr Okay, Ed. I see your point now. So far I did not notice the instrument lights being too dark when the landing lights were off. Attached a screen shot of the panel with landing and taxi lights off and panel lights on. I must agree, however, that your modification is certainly better. Thanks for providing it to all of us.Henrihttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/121425.jpg
