KSEZ Sedona - Static Aircraft and Vehicles Suspended in Air

Featured Replies

Have just downloaded and installed the new KSEZ scenery from Orbx.  It is fantastic.  However, in my setup, there are many aircraft and some static vehicles and people now appearing suspended in the air over the airport.   I have installed the latest ORBX libs and also used the Airport Elevation Correction in FTX Global Vector.  Any thoughts on how to correct this?  Apologies, I am new to posting and I may have this in the wrong spot.  Thank you.

This is caused by your mesh resolution, it's an easy fix, put the mesh to a "5" setting in your scenery settings. This is the recomened setting for all Orbtx scenery.

*Edit*

Just to clarify something. The recomened Mesh Resolution is 5 for Orbtx Airports.

If you are a user of the free FTX Global airports, you may be having a conflict with the KSEZ provided in that set of updates - there is a thread for it at the ORBX forums...

I'm pretty sure I'm right about the 5 setting on Mesh resolution.

It would be fantastic to get a "Mark Solved" for best answer  :He He:    I'd get a lovely green banner around my answer and would feel super important

Yeah, I've had this happen before, and solved it by recycling the scenery in the Scenery Library, or better yet, adjust the mesh slider in the control panel back and forth, pressing ok each time. Seems to resolve this quirk.

Doesn't hurt to check if you have the latest Orbx Libs aswell.
