Flying to Peru with this type of aircraft was interesting insofar, as this was the only country of the western hemisphere where Tu-134s were in service. SCEL Santiago de Chile - SPZO Cuzco. Came to late to fly at day because of some spotting... A very rare sight to Santiago without fog After missed approach at Cuzco (it was quite risky to land there at night and in bad weather conditions) The next morning: Short hop to SPIM Lima Turning into approach to rwy 15 Shortly before landing While resting at SPIM... Have I seen them in Russia or North Korea last time? Overview from the tower SPIM Lima to SKBO Bogotá. After take off from Lima Above the Peruvian jungle. The tiny river will soon flow into the Amazonas Already near SKBO What a cool tower A nice overview, note the city in the background Harald Geyer Gründer der Messerschmitt Freunde Dresden v. V.
