TXKF (Bermuda int'l) ILS Rwy 30

Featured Replies

Good afternoon,

The ILS approach for TXKF is on the left side of the runway. How can I fix it to the center of the runway? I was doing autoland and noticed the runway was on the right of the ILS so I disconnected the autopilot and steered the plane to the runway.

I will appreciate if you could give me guide or find a fix online for me to download.

Thanks!

Brian

what scenery? are you using default scenery or an updated afcad? Aerosoft has a high quality Bermuda that covers the airport and the entire island. If you are not looking to spend money there are updated afcads in the library, it is possible the ils approach is offset I do not have charts available.

Hello,

I am using the default scenery and I downloaded the afcad but it didn't seem to correct the problem. I might have done something incorrectly when I put it in my addon scenery. Thanks for your help!

The ILS RWY 30 at TXKF is not offset, so you should be flying directly down the runway centreline.  It may be a problem with you aircraft ? Have you tried the ILS with more than one aircraft ?

There is no CAT II or CAT III at Bermuda, so you would not be expected to autoland in the real world !!

The ILS is not offset, it is off-center by about 30'~. A quick and easy fix with an airport editor.
